Event Description

The Music of Ecuador and Its Neighbors

Los Bohemios Perdidos (Javier Jara and Carlos Ufret) will celebrate the music of Ecuador and its Andean neighbors. Virtuosic guitar, quena, zampoña, and charango player Víctor Murillo (straight from Quito, Ecuador), the incredibly talented, Austin-based violinist Roberto Riggio (musical director and violinist for Atash), brilliant bassist Dylan Jones (Atash), ingenious percussionist Carmelo Torres, versatile and multi-talented Juan Antonio de los Ángeles, and Ana Lilia Cantú will also be interpreting this gorgeous music with us. In addition to playing the classics, the ensemble will also perform original compositions, arrangements, and rarely heard Andean music jewels. We hope to see you all there!
